What is MAP?

MAP provide a variety of services for children and young people with disabilities in Manchester and their families and carers, as well as statutory agencies involved in provision for child disability. In our day-to-day work, we:

• Maintain a database of information about children and young people with disabilities in Manchester

• Support community projects in Manchester alongside the community and partner agencies;

• Undertake initial assessment and registration of families on behalf of Children, Families and Social Care, as well as performing carers assessments;

• Act as an information, advice, and signposting service for families.
