Manchester's Multi-Agency Partnership for Disabled Children and Young People

Get Involved

Becoming a regular worker with MAP is a great way of meeting people and will allow you to gain experience working with disabled children and young people. Volunteers are needed to support all the projects that run with MAP assistance. Paid vacancies also come up in Map projects.

New Volunteers Wanted!

MAP are currently recruiting volunteers to work in supported youth and activity groups across the city. This is an ideal opportunity for students and others wanting experience working with children and young people with disabilities to enhance their CVs, get to know Manchester and its community and meet fantastic kids and young people. For more information, please refer to our volunteering section (link opposite)

Criminal Records Bureau Checks

All workers and volunteer will be put through an enhanced police checking system (follow link above for full details). MAP can accept CRB checks if they are current, i.e; checks completed in the last 12 months.

Training

Training is available to all workers and volunteers (see support pack for details).
