Project Details

Project for Inclusion is a funded project for young people from 13 to 19 years who are at risk of, or subject to social isolation/exclusion due to their learning and/or physical disability and/or behaviour difficulties. The development worker who co-ordinates the project does a lot of issue based work with the young people and organises an active programme of sports and trips out. The young people that attend the project all have different needs, but are all working towards inclusion within mainstream youth provision.

The group have done a number of creative arts projects including, web site design, drama/dance and a cooking skills programme including GCSE. A number of the young people have also attended residential weekends to work on their team building skills.

To discuss referring your child to the project, get in touch with Roger on 0161 205 643, or on email at p4i@myway.com. You can also get in touch with MAP and ask for one of the play/youth development workers.
